Investing in the leading
businesses of the future.
Len Goldberg has a long track record of investing wisely and intentionally, always with a focus on the long term. After a career of working for Fortune 500 companies as an economist, he dedicated full-time effort to launching Goldberg Capital Management (GCM) in 1994. Since that time, Len has maintained a steady commitment to providing investment advice based on a fee-only approach, thus avoiding the path of selling “products.” This philosophy ensures that his advice is unbiased and geared specifically toward his clients’ needs as they seek to purposefully plan for their financial futures.
Len’s investment style evolved from his personal experience of paying his way through undergraduate and graduate schools. In addition to working odd jobs, he also learned the art of successful stock-picking, which ultimately gave him the “bug” for small-cap investing. Len soon developed a passion for seeking out small companies offering tremendous growth potential. Goldberg Capital Management’s philosophy is based on this proven investment approach.
Len holds a BS degree in Investor Relations from the University of Connecticut (’77) and an MBA in Finance and Economics from Loyola College, Baltimore, MD. (’80) He earned his Certified Financial Planning (CFP) degree from the College of Financial Planning in ’91. Although he no longer chooses to carry the CFP designation, Len attributes his motivation to establish GCM to this rigorous course of study.
